Once your account has been successfully migrated to
Live@Edu, you can access your new, cloud based, e-mail account.
Most accounts will not be available until January 4th, 2012. Unless you've been notified directly, your account will not be available until this date!
Before we begin, there are a few things you need to be aware of.
Instead of coby2\yourusername, as you may be used to, when accessing e-mail, your username (or Windows Live ID) will be
yourusername@cobleskill.edu.
Second, you can now access your e-mail from anywhere in the world by going to
www.outlook.com, entering your full username and password.
Since this is the first time you're accessing your new
Live@Edu account, you'll need to change the password. We recommend that you change the default password, given to you by ITS, to match the password you use to log into your computer in the morning.
You'll need to enter the default password provided by ITS, and your new/domain password twice. Once that's done, you'll be prompted to log into
Live@Edu again (use your 'new' password this time!).
Finally, you'll be asked to set your time zone.
You've now completed the process of activating your
Live@Edu account. You now have 10Gb of storage for mail, and 25Gb of file storage on SkyDrive.

Live@Edu.
